Robin Bailey recently secured a substantial $450,000 profit by selling her waterfront residence in Fig Tree Pocket for an impressive $1.6 million. The 53-year-old KIIS 97.3FM star finalized the significant deal in November, concluding a process that began when she initially listed the Brisbane property for sale in March of the previous year, according to realestate.com.au’s report on Thursday.
After encountering challenges that led to changing real estate agents and relisting the property in October, the radio host is now in a favorable position with a substantial cash windfall from the sale of the five-bedroom home. Robin originally acquired the property in 2015 for $1.15 million and enlisted the services of Ray White Paddington to facilitate the recent sale.
Described by real estate agent Mathew Abboud as a “warm and inviting family home,” the property boasts multiple indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces, as well as a fully self-contained guesthouse. The Brisbane River views and an in-ground pool served as attractive features that contributed to Robin’s impressive profit margin.

The sale holds sentimental value for Robin, who initially purchased the home after the tragic death of her first husband, Tony Smart, in 2015. Tony had battled depression and died by suicide. Subsequently, in 2019, Robin faced another tragedy with the death of her second husband, Sean Pickwell, who succumbed to cancer in September of that year. Following this heartbreaking loss, Robin sold her $500,000 home and embarked on a soul-searching trip to India with her three sons, shared with her first husband.
