Australian television presenter Sophie Monk recently sold a riverfront investment property in the Gold Coast suburb where she attended primary school. The transaction occurred a month after she listed the Helensvale home, featuring five bedrooms and three bathrooms, with an initial asking price of $1.75 million.
Although the exact sale price was not disclosed, property records indicate that the 4,018 sqm parcel in the sought-after Riverdowns Estate changed ownership a week ago and is pending settlement.
Monk, 44, acquired the renovated property for $1.1 million in 2016 upon her return from a ten-year stint in Los Angeles. The house, which was rented for $1,200 a week in 2021, was put on the market in December after the tenants vacated.

It has five bedrooms and a Hamptons-style renovated kitchen
Described by marketing agents Steve and James Weir of Harcourts Coastal as a “family classic home of enviable tranquility, privacy, and position,” the property boasts five bedrooms, a Hamptons-style renovated kitchen, direct ocean access with a boat ramp, jetty, storage areas, a pool, and outdoor entertaining spaces.
