- The number of home loan approvals has fallen 1.9 per cent in April, missing market expectations for a fall of 1.0 per cent.
The value of total housing finance fell 1.6 per cent to $32.4 billion in the month, seasonally adjusted, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
