Martin, who represented the Reid electorate in Sydney’s Olympic Park precinct from 2019 until her May election defeat, had built the modern home in 2020 after demolishing the prior home.

Her building block had cost $1.2 million in 2018 when there had been $1.5 million hopes.

Dr Martin, a moderate Liberal, was described as Scott Morrison’s captain’s pick when she first ran, replacing the retiring local member and pub baron Craig Laundy.

Her residency became an issue prior to the 2022 election within Liberal Party branches with some branch members unhappy she lived outside the electorate.

She was a child psychologist before her parliamentary career, with Dr Martin declining to reveal her plans. But she retained her psychology practice website, which has recently been updated.

After one week on the market, the price had been revised to $2.9 million.
