China Doll owner Steve Anastasiou and his wife Tracey — who are splitting up — have sold their Point Piper home for a double-digit-million-dollar amount.
The three-bedroom, five-bathroom north-facing home with four-car garage in the exclusive Kilmory Estate at 6B Wentworth St is listed in an expressions of interest campaign via Darren Curtis of Christies in a conjunction with Michael Pallier of Sotheby’s with a guide of $9.5m to $10.2m.
Sources have revealed to the Wentworth Courier that it sold last night for more than $10m after 22 days on the market.
The property, at 6B Wentworth St, Point Piper, offers harbour views.
Open-plan living areas open to the outdoors.
Among the highlights of the property was a decadent George Livissianis-designed kitchen — the same designer who did the fit-out at Steve’s three restaurants: China Doll in Woolloomooloo; China Lane in the CBD and Chu by China Doll in Rooty Hill.
The new kitchen and wine cellar for 500 bottles came soon after the couple purchased the home for $4.72m in 2014.
The three-bedroom two-level residence, which sits behind a historic sandstone wall, offers open-plan living areas leading to outdoor entertainment areas. There are extensive harbour views.
