According to realestate.com.au having split last year, influencer couple, celebrity fitness trainer Jono Castano and his ex-wife Amy, have offloaded their joint-owned Sydney investment apartment.
Their Rosebery investment saw minimal growth in their six-year ownership. They sold for $750,000, having paid $730,000 in 2015.
The two-bedroom apartment, which at its peak had been a $650-a-week rental before dropping to $530 during the Covid-induced rental downturn, is set in the Kimberley Estate Complex on Dalmeny Ave.
The Rosebery median apartment price currently sits at $852,500 based on 176 sales in the past year, with the two-bedroom median at $883,000, according to the realestate.com.au website.
There’s been 6 per cent annual growth.
Refurbished throughout, the apartment has an adjoining lounge and dining space. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open to a balcony. There’s was a new kitchen with Caesarstone benchtops. There is also a parking spot.
Jono, who was featured on the cover of Men’s Health in September, co-founded Acero Gym in Kensington with Amy, calling the likes of Rita Ora, Rebel Wilson and Sir Richard Branson as periodic customers.

They tied the knot three years ago, after first meeting on MySpace 13 years ago, before later running into one another at a nightclub and falling in love.
The former couple have moved on, with Amy going public with her new boyfriend, soccer player Aaron Evans.
Castano is dating model Simone Holtznagel.
