Ali Mian, the principal of Ray White Runaway Bay Group, along with his wife Shabana, has put their cherished residence at 51 Knightsbridge Parade West on Sovereign Islands on the market. This home has been their abode for over seven years, where they’ve shared their life with their three children. The property records reveal that they acquired the 726-square-meter land parcel for $1.34 million back in 2013, which later became the canvas for their dream home.

“It was nearly a year in the planning stage, followed by a painstaking 18-month construction process,” Mr. Mian disclosed. “We’ve cherished this place for seven and a half years. It’s been an idyllic setting to raise my family.” The house boasts five bedrooms, five bathrooms, multiple living spaces, a media room, a wine cellar, and a spacious six-car garage.

Mr. Mian added, “It’s designed with an open-plan concept, giving it a warm and inviting feel. We intentionally crafted it to encourage family togetherness.” Outside, a sprawling entertainment terrace complements a waterfront pool and a private pontoon for aquatic adventures.

During the construction phase, Mr. and Mrs. Mian sourced many of the fittings and fixtures from Spain and Italy, including the elevator, stone accents, and tiles. The home features exquisite touches such as timber flooring, elegant chandeliers, and meticulously crafted cabinetry adorned with book-matched marble.

Mr. Mian also emphasized the home’s prime location, overlooking the Broadwater, as a significant selling point. “Its position on Sovereign Islands is truly unique, with a park right across the road,” he noted. “While it’s on the Broadwater, it also offers the convenience of accommodating a boat. You can effortlessly hop on your jet skis or boat and be on Stradbroke Island within minutes. Just the other week, we spotted whales, and right in our backyard, we had a family of turtles.”
