Expressing her aspirations, the fortunate winner shared plans for a family holiday to Italy next year and a desire to reshape her career trajectory. Emphasizing that money won’t alter her core identity, she revealed ambitions to start her own business and potentially purchase acreage in Queensland.

The winning ticket was purchased at Oxford Street News in Bulimba, leaving the newsagency owner in awe. The $200 million prize marked the largest lottery win in Australian history, with the other winning ticket belonging to a couple from Singleton, NSW, who received the life-changing call while in bed on Thursday night.

The Singleton couple expressed a preference for international travel, asserting their decision to retire from work, and contemplating an overseas tour. Despite their newfound millionaire status, the partner might continue working due to a love for his job.

The historic Powerball draw also resulted in 22 division two winners, each receiving $177,092.75. The winning numbers from Thursday night were 12, 33, 23, 35, 1, 26, and 32, along with the Powerball number 10.
