An old church that was featured in a popular Australia television show has hit the market. The owner, who is selling it via Facebook, spent years renovating the rundown property to convert it into a stunning residence.

A historic church that formed the backdrop of Australian television series McLeod’s Daughters could set the scene for your everyday life.

The 1908-built Freeling church at 17 Borrow St, which was just one of the region’s landmarks featured in the popular small screen drama, is on the market following an extensive renovation to convert it into a residence.

Owner Amanda Emery poured her heart and soul into the transformation, which took years to complete.

She bought it seven years ago from the Anglican Church with the intention of fixing it up and living it in but her circumstances changed.
