Nathan Cleary, the star of NSW and the Penrith Panthers, recently shared some of the exciting updates he’s making to his magnificent riverside home in Sydney’s western suburbs, which he acquired from his parents earlier this year for $1.7 million.
This luxurious property on the Nepean River was initially purchased by his father and Panthers coach, Ivan Cleary, for $1.175 million back in 2013 when Nathan was just a teenager.
The 25-year-old athlete took to social media this week to reveal the design for his newly renovated bathroom, originally posted by the Sydney-based interior design studio Alicia Xiberras Interiors. The studio proudly introduced the bathroom design for their local legend, Nathan Cleary, highlighting that this project was a unique and exciting experience. They described the bathroom as embodying urban masculine style with a touch of luxury. The design team used a contrasting color palette and a blend of refined and distinctive shapes to bring Nathan’s vision to life. They also promised more updates on Nathan’s home renovations in the future.

The design studio also shared a video tour of Cleary’s home, showcasing his interest in modern design ideas. The house is nestled in a lush environment, offering both indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces and large floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the interiors with natural light. Its proximity to BlueBet Stadium makes it highly convenient for Panthers’ home games and training.

Nathan Cleary is considered one of the top players in the league and reaffirmed his commitment to the Penrith Panthers with a $1.1 million per season deal last year. As a key figure in the Panthers’ three consecutive premierships, he is among the highest earners in the NRL and has consistently delivered outstanding performances.
In addition to his sporting achievements, Cleary made headlines for supporting Matildas star Mary Fowler during her Olympic qualifying matches in Perth. The duo has been romantically linked and was spotted together in Highgate, near the city’s CBD, where they enjoyed each other’s company over takeaway coffee. Observers described their interaction as “low-key but cute.”
