Auctions often come with added perks such as a complimentary coffee upon arrival, a bottle of champagne for the first bidder, or even a set of steak knives or furniture. However, a Western Sydney auction scheduled for this Saturday takes things to a whole new level by offering a brand-new car worth $25,000 to the successful bidder.

The auction, featuring the luxurious five-bedroom home located at 10 Kibo Rd, Regents Park, is anticipated to draw a massive crowd, not only due to the enticing giveaway but also because of the immense interest in the property itself.

Frank La Malfa, the selling principal and director of Ray White – La Malfa Group, revealed that the car giveaway was a unique idea that the owner had wanted to implement from the beginning of the campaign, and the sales team fully supported it.

“This property is truly exceptional, and we wanted to do something unprecedented in this area,” Mr. La Malfa stated. “In my 22 years in real estate, I have never seen anything like this. We’ve heard of giveaways like steak knives and furniture, but not a car.”

Mr. La Malfa mentioned that they had patiently awaited the car’s arrival before making the announcement. The car finally arrived at the property on Tuesday, a bright yellow Kia Picanto adorned with a large yellow bow.

“We were unsure if we could get the car in time and planned to make it a significant addition to this iconic home,” he explained. “We are delighted to confirm that the car has arrived just in time.”

The owner originally purchased the 519 square-meter property for $1.2 million in February, subsequently demolishing the existing house to make way for the stunning five-bedroom residence.

“It’s an architecturally designed home, truly an iconic masterpiece,” Mr. La Malfa remarked. “We’ve had interested buyers from all over Sydney, including the North Shore and other areas. This house has attracted attention from buyers across the city.”

The listing highlights the property as offering “the epitome of luxury living, with a keen focus on detail and high-end finishes throughout, promising a lifestyle of comfort, sophistication, and entertainment.” The house features five spacious bedrooms, a modern kitchen, two lounge areas with an open-plan layout, a private backyard with a large alfresco area, barbecue facilities, and a swimming pool.

The strong performance of the Australian housing market, with rising home values, has seen both buyers and sellers returning with increased confidence as interest rates stabilize.

“This home presents multiple living spaces with lavish finishes at every turn,” the listing describes. “It’s a home for all seasons, where cherished memories can be created with loved ones, whether gathering around the gas fireplace for warmth and ambiance at the heart of the home or enjoying summer days by the pool.”
